The program broadcast on Arte on November 27, 2018 , shows us Barbès, Stalingrad or the Boulevard du Temple which in their own way evoke the working-class past of Paris. A city in which Marcel Carné has shot many films with the heroes of “little people” from the popular Parisian districts. From the Déjazet theater, where “Les Enfants du Paradis” was filmed, to the Canal Saint-Martin immortalized in “Hôtel du Nord”, the capital is a full-fledged character in the French director's cinema.
