With its old village look, Montmartre is one of the most filmed areas of the capital. It has always inspired films seeking to represent old Paris and to pay homage to its artists. Amélie Poulain, our common thread, will take you in the footsteps of this rich history which combines painting, cinema and literature with very successful and lesser-known films that we will discover together thanks to the many anecdotes, photos and video clips on tablet. A joyful walk off the beaten track to rediscover the Butte.

Some opinions on this walk

I recently took part in the “Montmartre at the cinema” visit with Amélie Poulain's film as a common thread. I really enjoyed this complete walk on the subject and the fact of being in a small group. I salute the work of the guide, Juliette, who brings her knowledge while remaining attentive. I therefore advise everyone!

Despite the cold, we rediscovered the charming village of Montmartre through the films of which Juliette showed us several extracts. It is fascinating because it is informative and fun. Well done and thank you Juliette!

Bravo for this so pleasant visit that we made with my friend Cathryn in the Paris of Montmartre on July 30th, therefore highly recommended !!!

Our first film tour enchanted us! The guide is both friendly and a great connoisseur of the 7th art: a treat! A visit to Montmartre on the theme of the films that have been shot and the directors who have lived there is highly recommended.

Extremely interesting guided tour of Montmartre.
Our guide Juliette is passionate about cinema and shares it with us with great generosity and enthusiasm.
A walk to recommend for lovers of cinema as well as for lovers of Montmartre. Go there you will not be disappointed.

I received, as a birthday present (!), Juliette Dubois' walk "Montmartre to the cinema" which we therefore followed on Thursday July 30, Saint's Day… Juliette !! Exciting walk thanks to a carefully chosen route, and to commentaries of the places as well as films. And, icing on the cake (birthday !!) excerpts from the films mentioned on a tablet and with a microphone for the sound. I highly recommend this walk to Montmartre fans and cinema lovers ...
