Immediately recognizable with her two-tone hairstyle, her free speech and her warm voice, Agnès Varda was a feminist pioneer in the 1950s and left us as a modern, fanciful granny, always inspired until her 90s. Through the streets of Montparnasse, we will travel through the locations of her films and in particular Cléo from 5 to 7. A resident of the neighborhood for more than 60 years, Agnès Varda liked to say that by understanding people, we understood places better, and that by understanding the places, we understood the people better. Some opinions on this walk

Thanks to Juliette Dubois who knows her subject perfectly and takes us where we need to observe and discover. She calmly transmits her attachment to the personality of Agnès Varda and her gratitude for what she has brought to the cause of women, and women in the cinema, and makes a very good link with other major personalities in the neighborhood. This film tour is aptly named.

Excellent cine walk around Agnes Varda where we discover the 14th at the same time. As always Juliette Dubois is perfect and her comments and film clips are fascinating (“Cleo from 5 to 7” in particular) - do not hesitate to go on tours with her.

Superb guide knowing his subject very well.

A first for us to discover the "village" of Agnes, her attachment to the 14th arrondissement through the shoots near her home: 2 good hours of stroll punctuated by references and film extracts. Excellent idea which made us want to review "Cléo de 5 à 7"!

Despite terrible weather, we had a wonderful walk in the footsteps of Agnès Varda thanks to Juliette our guide who was able to tell us about the influence of the 14th century on the work of the director by spicing up her remarks with various anecdotes and by using them. illustrating extracts from films that she shows us on her tablet. Take advantage of this excursion in this district and this foray into the cinematographic journey of Agnès Varda. Thank you, thank you to Juliette.

It is always with pleasure that for several years I participate with pleasure in the Ciné-balades of Juliette Dubois.

These are always beautiful walks that bring cinema and Paris to life, that bring memories to the surface, and above all that allow you to deepen your knowledge of an author. This is how, following in the footsteps of 'Cléo de 5 à 7', I became aware of Agnès Varda's attachment to the 14th century, and of the many creations she had produced, and that I didn't know.

Our guide is competent and pleasant.
