THE SAINT-OUEN FLEA MARKET

Serpette.jpg

From the “zone” of Saint-Ouen to the antique market of today, the Flea markets have attracted many films, whose directors have been seduced by the original settings and the special atmosphere.

From the 1920s, films recount the lives of the inhabitants of the area, or show the trades of second-hand dealers. But the Puces are also frequented by professionals looking for furniture, costumes or accessories. We even meet Arsène Lupin, the burglar gentleman!

The visit will be animated by extracts from films on tablet, and the evocation of renowned directors: Woody Allen, Louis Malle, John Schlesinger, Michel Gondry, Guillaume Canet ...

Some opinions on this walk

No need to cross the ring road and take risks by running in the middle of cars like François Cluzet to find yourself at the Saint Ouen flea market. Just listen to Juliette and take a walk with her on a beautiful stroll through these various and amazing markets. Once again she was able to tell us the history of this place and its link with cinema, from the area to an epic motorcycle crossing with ... to know with whom? Follow Juliette.
